Lal Bahadur Shastri Mahavidhyalaya, Dharmabad is an out come of efforts made by all eminent visionaries to educate the society. Since last 48 years all stake holders of the institution which include management, faculties, non teaching staff, students, and society contributing for overall development of the college. Diversified activities in college were put into action even before after the establishment of Internal Quality Assurance Cell to cater to the various quality related issues. We have implemented initiatives to enhance and enrich our academic practices. The college has adequate infrastructure to achieve its goal. The college have play grounds, classrooms, laboratories, hostels, canteen, administrative buildings. At present the college conducts BA, B Com and B Sc at UG level and M Com and M Sc at PG level. In addition to this, there is a provision for distance education also which is helpful for those who could not reach to the college due to some unavoidable reasons. Yashawantrao Chavan Open University, Nashik has authorized college as study centre for distance education. I am delighted to submit the Self Study Report (SSR) of lal Bahadur Shastri Mahavidhyalaya, Dharmabad Dist Nanded for the second cycle of accreditation by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangaluru. This report has been prepared following the guidelines of NAAC. The report is a reflection of the academic and administrative functions and activities taking place, during the past four years in the College, focusing on all the seven criteria framed by NAAC. During development of the report we have engaged intensive and productive discussion with all the stakeholders of the institution. Their support, willingness to share the ideas, their comments were taken for preparation of this SSR. I am gratefully acknowledge the involvement of IQAC, NAAC Steering Committee members and all teaching Faculties and non teaching staff of the college.
